Breast Implant Revamp™ Removal & Replacement Surgery OVERVIEW

Breast implants are not considered to be lifetime devices, which means that additional surgeries can be expected in order to replace them over time. Implant removal and replacement surgery is a procedure to remove your old implants and replace them with new ones. Your body may have changed shape and size since you had your implants fitted, so getting them replaced is an ideal opportunity to make your breasts look more proportionate with your body once again.

It might be that you want to change the type of implants used to get the look that you desire; which may include choosing a different implant shape (round / tear-drop), implant profile (low / moderate / high), a bigger or smaller implant size, a different implant brand with the latest silicone device technology, or combining the removal and replacement breast augmentation surgery together with a breast lift (mastopexy). There is no set time limit as to when you will need to replace your implants. The general rule is, if you aren’t having any problems with your implants, and your breasts are soft and in good shape, leave them alone! After you have had your implants for a while, it is advisable to schedule routine check ups with your surgeon to ensure that your implants are intact.
